12:39 a.m. 2003-10-21 Once again, I've been neglecting this journal. I'll do my best to use this one more. Tonight, I just finished making four different CD case covers/backs for some music CDs I burned three weeks ago. I'm listening to The Punters: "said she couldn't dance" cd now. I was hoping it would have been a bit heavier with the music, but it's not bad. *switches to Lord of the Dance* I burned these CDs for Drew, 'cause she's in Irish dancing and had borrowed some CDs from friend in the class. ~*~*~ I did something I swore I would never do again; buy a movie I hadn't seen prior. I bought Bionicle: The Movie when I was out with Bluemuse two weeks ago. The movie didn't turn out too badly. The animation was good (I didn't twitch), and the story was half decent. I couldn't exactly predict the whole ending (and that always bugs me about some movies). It also leaves it open for another movie coming out next year. Almost makes me want to have the interesting Bionicle toys. ~*~*~ Finally finished reading Harry Potter 5 Order of the Phoenix. Let's just say, I wasn't overly impressed with this installment. . . . . . . . . . . . (Spoiler Space) . . . . . . . . . . . . I talked it over with the friend who I borrowed the book from and we both don't think that Sirius actually died. Sure, he only "passed through the vail", but so what? We didn't actually see him die! Everyone just assumes he's dead. Lack of body = a chance of life! I call it the "Gandalf syndrome"; he fell, but it doesn't seem final. I thought when I first read that Gandalf falls in Moria, it didn't seem like an end for Gandalf at all. He was too powerful to be defeated in such a manor. . . . . . . . . . . . (End of Spoiler Space) . . . . . . . . . . . . I found the overall writing of book 5 to be crappy. I could write better than that, but that aside, let's try and figure out why Harry turns into a small ball of 100% angst.
