Yesterday anyway, and boy did I have fun in it. (sarcastic thought lost in text form). I was doing my usual childcare on Monday's and it was snowing. Very nice. The kids went out to play in it and I got a bit of drawing done. After lunch, we got ready to take the oldest to school. I normally take the wagon and pull either both of them or just the youngest, but it's usually no problem. Why hadn't I thought of the sled before hand?!?!? I ended up dragging the wagon sans kids for most of the trip back (Justin ran along side)! I was exhausted! The wheels seized up with all the snow and just wouldn't budge! I know I'm out of shape, but I'm surprised that I'm not sore today. My muscles were working overtime yesterday. Plus it was still snowing the whole time, so I was covered in snow. I dusted myself off several times but it just kept on adding over and over again. It was so fun. (again, loss of sarcasm) Sled next time!
Today I was suckered into doing more child care (for free) for my church while a funeral was going on (dad came into my room and I was still have a sleep - he asked if I would do it - silly me - I said yes). I was told two kids would be there. Fine. Those two kids turned into five kids, but they played mostly on their own, so I actually had time to do those doodles of my adventure in the snow yesterday (I just finished them up tonight and added arrows). When one of the parents were leaving, she gave me $5 for my troubles. Sweet! That'll go towards my "shoebox" for Operation: Christmas Child. This is an awesome thing to do. This is my second year doing one by myself 'cause I can actually afford it. I know it's probably too late to start it now if you've never heard of it, but it's so worth it! Do it next year!
I just found out today that Friday morning (for my road trip I'm taking with some friends) that we're going to be possibly leaving at 3:00am because of freezing rain that just happens to be falling that day and that day only. Lucky us. (sarcasum pt. 3) This is certainly going to be a trip to remember. Julia and I have ironed out our day mostly, so that's going to be fun. We're both looking forward to it. She's meeting me at the hotel and then we're off to various locations such as museums, old Montreal, and big shopping malls. I am so bringing my camera! ^^
I also worked a wee bit on Crypt: the website today. I re-did the navigation banner at the top since I added a topic forum. Yey me! The banner looks so much better now; much more completed. I hope my script block gets lifted soon, so I can start drawing the comics themselves. ~AW~ "In the space of one hundred and seventy-six years the Mississippi has shortened itself two hundred and forty-two miles. Therefore in the Old Silurian Period the Mississippi River was upward of one million three hundred thousand miles long ... seven hundred and forty-two years from now the Mississippi will be only a mile and three-quarters long. ... There is something fascinating about science, one gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact." - Mark Twain
