2003-04-13 Okay, normally, I have no problem with the french. Sure they can be a pain, but so can everyone else in the world. But really, when you're snobbish, you're snobbish! Tonight, I got stuck with the head tables... again. I'm starting to see a trend. I guess that means I'm an awesome head table server. I suppose that's something to be proud of. And my boss's boss's boss is really nice. But I also had to serve the major of Ottawa too. The jerk. Last time I talked to him, he was extremely rude to me (I'm trying to find the correct DL entry that connects with that, but I'm thinking I didn't write it down. Odd. I'm pretty sure I did. Anyway, he wasn't the worst today. Two ladies were... and I use the term "ladies" to be polite. It was a french function so I had to work on my french and remember certain words (I remembered "under" - yey me!) Anyway, I was asking these two ladies (in french) to put their purses and bags under their chairs "please". (I couldn't remember what to call purses in french so I substituted that with "baggage". Then they start talking to me (in quick french) that I caught the word "avion" (airplane). Then one said, noticing I wasn't getting it "We're not on an airplane, why do we have to." I explained that when we serve the food, we step inbetween the chairs and served "like this - we're right here." "And so is your hair." >_0 Me: (thinking) Yes ma'am, my hair is in the way, but that can be remedied. You're attitude on the other hand... I tried to be calm and collected with this lady, but she was just being plain rude. I had to turn around and walk away from her before I said something that I would have gotten in trouble with later (and most something that we both would have regreted. I hate stupid and rude people.
I opened a savings account last Wednesday because I want to save up some money and consider it non-exsistant for my education. I hope to go to Sheridan College to take their illustration course. I hope I can get in. ^^ ~AW~ "Toss me." - Gimli (The Two Towers)
